Biography

Andreas has been with Chouinard and Company since 2009.  His practise since being called to the bar in 2010 has been almost exclusively in the area of personal injury.

Born and raised in British Columbia, he first came to Vancouver in 1989 to study at UBC, and loves the city and the natural environment. Andreas graduated from Dalhousie Law School in 2001 and, prior to coming to Chouinard and Company, he worked with Indigenous and Northern Affairs Canada.

Andreas has appeared in the British Columbia Provincial Court, Supreme Court and the Court of Appeal, as well as the Federal Court of Canada. 

Andreas makes great efforts to advise his clients on the sometimes complicated regulations and policies of insurance companies like ICBC, and how best to navigate the court system to get the best results, either in settlement or at trial.
