Biography
Carter Chen was born in Ottawa, Ontario but was raised in Vancouver, BC. In 2021, he graduated with a J.D. from the Faculty of Law at Thompson Rivers University. Carter joined Chouinard and Company as an articling student in 2021.
Carter volunteered at the Thompson Rivers University Community Legal Clinic for a semester where he provided advice to people who could not access and afford legal services. During his time at the clinic, he advised on various issues, including uncontested divorce, residential tenancy, and wills and powers of attorney.
Outside of work, Carter enjoys spending time with his wife and family. He enjoys restoring and owning vintage cars.
